Troop 615 Alumni
Scouts and adults become Troop alumni once they have left the troop. We would like to remain in touch with alumni to send special and important information and events about the Troop. Scouts who have aged out will receive an email invitation to remain an alumnus and can submit a short contact information form. Adults who do not recharter will also receive an email to ask if they would like to become an alumni, and they can submit the same contact information form.
Troop 615 Eagle Scout Alumni
Scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, once they have aged out at 18 years old, become Eagle Alumni in addition to Troop 615 alumni. The Troop will maintain contact with Eagle Alumni with messages about the troop and special events/activities. All Eagle Alumni are welcome to return to 615 to visit, talk to the younger scouts, become an Assistant Scoutmaster, or a member of the Parent Committee.

National Eagle Scout Association

NESA members play a critical role in creating a world filled with leaders using the Scout Oath and Law to be responsible and participating citizens.
Scouting Alumni and Friends
Scouting Alumni & Friends is Scouting’s alumni network, and it helps individuals reconnect with Scouting and the specific Scouting organizations that are important to them.
The group provides a way for Scouting alumni to reconnect with their Boy Scout troop, Sea Scout ship, Explorer post, Venturing crew, summer camp staff, Wood Badge troop, Alpha Phi Omega chapter, Order of the Arrow lodge and more.
It also helps Scouting friends connect to the program in new and interesting ways.
Scouting Alumni & Friends provides best practices for alumni groups, powerful tools like its alumni database, and training courses at the council level and the Philmont Training Center.
Scouting Alumni & Friends also offers awards programs such as the Alumni Award and knot, special recognitions for years of service, and the Regional Alumnus of the Year and National Alumnus of the Year awards.
BSA Alumni Association
In addition to being a Troop 615 alumni, Scouts can join the BSA Alumni Association. The Alumni Association offers many opportunities to enjoy Scouting Adventures, support Scouting, and help boys and girls grow into their very best future selves.
The National Alumni Association serves as an umbrella organization for many Scouting affiliations and career-based networks. It supports and coordinates best practices amongst Affiliate and Affinity Groups. Notable examples include: the National Eagle Scout Association, the National High adventure base Staff organizations, The OA Alliance as well as “Shared Experiences” like Wood Badge of the USA, Alpha Phi Omega, National Organization of Sea Scout Alumni, Venturing Alumni, the Life for Life Program, Catalyst BSA, and the Troop Infinity Initiatives.
The purpose of the National Alumni Association is to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to foster lifelong relationships for alumni and encourage their gifts of time, talent, and philanthropy to Scouting. The association facilitates volunteer service to achieve established goals related to vibrant alumni membership programs, events, communications, awards, scholarships, council service, web stores, and revenue generation.

They also have reopened the Alumni store. Discover a curated collection of exclusive Alumni Association print-on-demand apparel and accessories that embody the spirit of our organization. The print-on-demand storefront is their first phase in relaunching the Alumni Association Online Store, which includes many desirable apparel goods such as hats, jackets, shirts, pullovers, etc., which can be branded with the customer’s desired alumni logo/brands.
